Two aquamarines in dialogue.
This Toi et Moi ring was created around a pair of pear-cut aquamarines. Drawings and design studies helped find a precise balance between movement, light and asymmetry.

From our first conversation to the finished piece.
The first sketches explore the meeting of two gemstones and how they sit on the hand. Refined studies and renderings make the form tangible before it is crafted. The finished piece retains the energy of the drawing. The images reveal the journey: an initial intention, colour studies, an exploration of volume and the finished jewel. At every stage, the two aquamarines remain the starting point of the composition and its balance.
